Episode #11: How to Deal with Suffering

In How to Deal with Suffering, Bentinho prescribes three strategies for transmuting highly afflictive states (from isolated incidents to chronic confusion or frustration) in clear and constructive ways. He starts with the teaching: “Know yourself, accept yourself, become the Creator,” which he uses to contextualize the three techniques. We recommend watching episode #03—Become Emotionally Intelligent—as a prerequisite to this episode.

Episode #10: Balancing Love and Wisdom (STO #2)

Balancing Love & Wisdom is the second part of a two-episode series based on being of service to others (STO). In this episode Bentinho differentiates the love imbalance from the wisdom imbalance, and demonstrates true equilibrium of both in what he calls “Mirror Consciousness.”

Episode #09: Service to Others vs. Service to Self (STO #1)

Service to Others vs. Service to Self is the first part of a two-episode series based on being of service to others (STO). This is a technical episode that details the process of accumulating spiritual mass, breaking free of complacency, and polarizing positively toward service to others as opposed to service to self.

Episode #08: The Mechanics of Healing

In The Mechanics of Healing, Bentinho explains in depth how disease, trauma, and ailments of all kinds are purposeful forms of guidance—not random inconveniences—and how the mechanism of healing is the same essential process regardless of what is being healed. He also discusses the 3-Day Process, a model relevant to all transformation, and deconstructs the popular topic of “spiritual bypassing.”

Bonus Episode: The Paradox of Electing Remarkable Leaders

In The Paradox of Electing Remarkable Leaders, we explore several hypotheses about recognizing and electing highly competent leaders. In particular: how can we as a civilization get the most remarkable leaders into leadership positions when what qualifies them is (ideally) beyond our current scope or vision?

#07: The Art of Respecting Free Will

In The Art of Respecting Free Will we take a close look at respect, what it actually is, and how often humans objectify each other under the guise of honor, loyalty and respect. In this episode Bentinho deconstructs the common assumptions we make within families—something he calls culturally reenforced opinions that have nothing to do with respect.

#06: Why True Spirituality is Science

In Why True Spirituality is Science, Bentinho reveals why genuine spirituality—not spiritual concepts or dogma or lifestyle, but genuine self knowledge—is the evolution of science. This oversight is a blindspot for most scientists, not only because it could invalidate certain scientific conclusions, but also because examining this oversight requires radical humility on the scientist’s part. In Bentinho’s words, “The true scientist is the most courageous individual.”

#05: How Personal Identity (Ego) Is Structured

In How Personal Identity (Ego) is Structured, Bentinho gives a technical overview of the levels of personal identity, and discusses how to move through them. As always, the conversation touches on a variety of tangential topics, like how mastering empowerment ultimately leads to a desire for enlightenment, how our higher selves guide our paths, and whether or not someone else can know you better than you know yourself. This is a foundational episode that will contextualize future episodes (and many of Bentinho’s more advanced teachings).

#04: The Relationship Fallacy

In The Relationship Fallacy, Bentinho deconstructs one of the main pillars of human life as we know it: romantic relationships—suggesting that relationships contradict the love, mutual respect, and generosity by which they’re inspired. In addition to deconstructing the concept of a relationship, this episode spends time reviewing Bentinho’s romantic history, dissecting the victim mentality, and dispelling the myth that being relationship-less is lonelier or more limited than the alternative.

#03: Become Emotionally Intelligent

In Become Emotionally Intelligent, we set aside everything we think we know about emotional intelligence and consider a different paradigm: that emotions are a guidance mechanism designed to expedite our Self-Realization and help us evaluate the validity of our thoughts and beliefs.

#02: The Courage of Authenticity

The Courage of Authenticity is a bar-setting episode that exposes easily-disguised inauthenticity (especially among celebrities, political leaders, and people with large followings) and implores all people to step courageously into true, loving authenticity, regardless of backlash or lost followers. Bentinho also encourages people to be less tolerant of their own tendencies to get offended, and describes in depth what he calls “the seeking impulse.”
